Within the characterization team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Assist R&D technicians and engineers
Prepare materials required for scientific experiments based on the schedule and instructions (reagents, small equipment, etc.)
Perform simple setups based on a sketch, drawing, or description
Calibrate various laboratory instruments according to defined procedures (FTIR, BET, conductivity meters, pH meters, microscope, etc.)
Conduct performance and characterization tests following established procedures
Follow established procedures to test performance and characterize raw materials and materials developed by Sweetch Energy
Ensure the quality of the measurements and document any deviations
Collect samples and carry out basic scientific analysis sequences
Complete documentation to track scientific experiments
Participate in laboratory operations
Apply 5S principles (organization, stock monitoring, cleanliness, cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tidiness) to maintain an efficient working environment
Contribute to process quality by adhering to QHSE procedures and guidelines (visual conformity checks of materials, following good laboratory practices)
You ideally hold a CAP in chemical industries, a vocational diploma as a laboratory technician, a Bac Pro in chemical or water processes, a BEPA in processing with a focus on laboratory and quality control, or a technological science baccalaureate (chemistry, physics/chemistry, or process engineering).
You are a team player, show autonomy, and are proactive in suggesting improvements.
Rigor, proactivity, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role.
