Your mission

As an Operations Technician, your main mission will be to support the operation of the first French osmotic energy demonstrator by performing hydraulic and electrochemical testing on our generators, as well as contributing to maintenance and site development activities.

Within the Commissioning & Operations team, your responsibilities will include:

Testing:

  • Participate in preparatory meetings and configure the site accordingly (hydraulics, electricity, safety) for testing operations.

  • Conduct tests following established procedures.

  • Complete test reports and other quality documentation related to the demonstrator.

  • Propose and document new testing protocols and possible improvements (feedback/continuous improvement).

Maintenance:

  • Take part in assembling new demonstrator equipment (piping, electrical, instrumentation).

  • Plan and perform first-level maintenance (preventive and corrective) on site equipment and calibrate integrated sensors.

  • Diagnose failures and carry out basic repairs or coordinate with external contractors when needed.

  • Perform general maintenance interventions on-site.

  • Propose and contribute to improvement actions to enhance the safety and performance of the demonstrator (feedback/continuous improvement).

  • Manage supply of materials and consumables, receive deliveries, and handle inventory.

Responsibilities may evolve depending on the site's development and the recruited profile.

The ideal profile

  • Holder of a BAC +2 or BAC +3 (equivalent to Associate’s or Bachelor's degree) in physical measurements, electrical engineering, electrochemistry, or mechanical/industrial engineering.

  • Ideally, you have initial experience in battery systems, water treatment, or fluid processes.

  • Motivated by renewable energy and blue energy, you are eager to contribute to innovative projects for a cleaner planet!

  • You are rigorous, resourceful, and autonomous, with a strong ability to adapt in the field and a dynamic mindset — you are the perfect fit for this role!

Requirements:

  • Valid Category B driving license (mandatory)

  • Electrical accreditation B2/B2V Tests (qualified to perform electrical testing work) and/or CACES certification (optional)
